Hi, I’m Meredith. I love sending notes. And getting mail. And stamps and stationery and seeing handwriting… Once I took my first letterpress class in 2011, I knew I found the way to bring so many things I love together. I started designing my letterpress greeting cards in 2013. I use a mix of hand-lettering and illustrations, metal type, and graphic design. I make cards that are heartfelt or funny, or a little bit of both. My press is named Sea Heart City because my heart is stuck between the city and the sea. I grew up at the beach in NJ and later called some of the greatest cities in the world home… Madrid, New York City, London, DC and now Philadelphia! I am influenced by my life at the beach and my life in the city and how I am always missing one when I am at the other.
